* Won the gold medals in 100m and 200m sprint events, clocking 12.23 and 25.3 seconds in girls u-17 category of the 54th National Schools Games at Kochi in January (7-11), 2009. She broke the 30-year-old record in the heats with a timing of 12.12 seconds.

* Bagged silver medals in under-17 girls` 100m and 200m sprint events, clocking 12.9 and 26.93 seconds respectively in the 53rd National School Games at Kolkata in January (7-11), 2008.

* Won the gold medals in 100m and 200m sprint events, clocking 12.23 and 25.3 seconds in girls u-17 category of the 54th National Schools Games at Kochi in January (7-11), 2009. She broke the 30-year-old record in the heats with a timing of 12.12 seconds.

* Won the under-18 girls’ 100m gold medal, clocking 12.38 seconds in the 6th National Youth Athletics Championship at MGR Stadium in Madurai (Tamil Nadu) on May 30, 2009. She also claimed silver medal in 200m sprint.

* Establised two new national record and bagged gold medals to emerge as the best girl (u-18) athlete of the 7th National Youth Athletics Championship, which concluded at Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore (TN) on April 25, 2010. She registered the two national records in 100m and 200m sprints, clocking 12.08 seconds (heats) and 24.49 seconds (final) respectively. She won gold in both the events with a timing of 12.20 seconds in 100m final. Ranjita won her third gold in girls 1000m sprint medley relay with Ros Dipika Baa, Purnima Hembram and Bibiana Kulu as partners (timing: 2:20.32).

* Won one silver in under-18 girls 100m (12.32 secs) and one bronze in 200m (25.30 sect) events of the 25th National Junior Athletics Championship at Warangal (AP) on Nov 20, 2009.

* Bagged three gold medals in girls` under-16 100m (12.0s), 200m (26.0s) and 4x100m relay events of the 2nd National Inter State Athletic Championship at Rourkela in January (17-20), 2008.

* Finished sixth among eight competitors in one of the eight heats of the girls’ 100 meter event of the 6th World Youth Athletics Championship at Bressanone in Italy on July 8, 2009. She clocked an unimpressive 12.75 seconds, which is 0.37 seconds more than her recent National gold winning time of 12.38 seconds.
