Nuapada created an unwanted record when they were bundled out for 10 runs and lost to Bhubaneswar-A by 160 runs in their preliminary league match of the Inter-District U-16 Boys Cricket Tournament at Hi-Tech Ground in Bhubaneswar today. For the winners, Pratyush Sahoo bagged five wickets, conceding only two runs.
Bowlers asserted supremacy in almost all six matches of the day with four among them capturing five or more wickets each. Other five matches of the day were won by Gajapati, Khordha, Bhubaneswar-B, Jharsuguda and Bargarh.
Sumit Mishra was most successful bowler of the day, scalping seven wickets for 18 runs for Khordha against Nayagarh. He was followed by Aryan Nath Tiwari (6/14) of Jharsuguda and Subham Sadai (5/23) of Gajapati.
