Rourkela rode on a three-wicket haul by Kausik Das to beat home favourites Cuttack-A by seven wickets in their super league T20 match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior & U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Nimpur Ground in Cuttack today.
East Coast Railway, Khordha, Odisha Green, Odisha Pink and Odisha Red registered wins in five other matches of the day. Fine allround performance by Sarath Minz went in vain as Sundargarh went down to Khordha by three runs.
Only two batsmen _ Satya Samal (Odisha Pink) and Suryakanta Das (Odisha Red) _ were able to hit a half-century each, while 10 bowlers bagged three or more wickets each in the day.
