Sabita Toppo of Bhubaneswar shattered the Meet Record in U-18 girls 100 meter hurdles on the penultimate day of the 68th Odisha State Athletics Championship at KIIT & KISS Athletics Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
A trainee of Reliance Foundation Odisha Athletics High Performance Centre, Sabita clocked 14.8 seconds, bettering the previous Meet Record of 15.1 seconds. This was the seventh New Meet Record in the ongoing State championship. The seven new records also feature one State Record.
RESULTS (10 April 2022):
BOYS-14: 60m Run: 1. Minakatan Behera, Sundargarh (7.6s), 2. Mangan Sinku, Sundargarh (7.8s), 3. Md Rehaan, Sambalpur (8.0s).
