Four and three wicket hauls by Sujata Mallik and Rameswari Naik respectively propelled Odisha to a seven-wicket win over Bihar in their second Elite Group-B match of the BCCI Senior Women T20 League at Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum, Kerala today.
This was the second successive win for Odisha, who defeated Chhattisgarh by 71 runs in their opening match yesterday. Electing to bat, Bihar scored 66 for eight. Odisha overhauled the modest target in 12.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process.
Sarita Meher was the top scorer for Odisha, hitting an unbeaten 38 off 33 balls. Odisha will next meet Tripura on April 21.
