Nuapada rode on a six-wicket haul by Gourav K Rout to script an 18-run win over Kandhamal in their Silver Group match of the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament at DRIEMS Ground, Tangi, Cuttack today. This was the second straight win for Nuapada for whom captain Prayash K Singh slammed 87.
Nabarangpur prevailed over Paradeep by six wickets, while Gajapati beat Malkangiri by 120 runs in two other matches of the day. Sukesh K Heera was the main architect of the Nabarangpur win, taking four wickets and hitting an unbeaten 52.
