Samartha Prusty of Bhubaneswarand and Asif Haque (Cuttack) bagged a double each in the 16th YGTTA All-Orissa Open Table Tennis Tournament, which concluded at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, yesterday.
Asif went on to claim a treble by winning the sub-junior boys`` doubles title. Nalco Director (Production) P K Routray and Orissa Olympic Association secretary Asirbad Behera gave away prizes at the closing function.
Results (all finals): Cadet girls`` singles: Tanya Gope (Joda) bt Vaisnabi Sarangi (Khurda) 11-7, 11-8, 11-4.
Cadet boys`` singles: Ajitav Kalta (Bhubaneswar) bt Jaideep Moharana (Cuttack) 11-2, 11-5, 11-7.
Sub-junior girls`` singles: Samartha Prusty bt Soumya Mishra (Bhubaneswar) 11-4, 11-5, 11-6, 8-11, 11-7.
Sub-junior boys`` singles: Asif Haque bt Bikas Singh (RSP) 11-4, 11-6, 11-4, 11-4.
Junior girls`` singles: Samartha Prusty bt Ankita Kha (Khurda) 11-7, 11-6, 11-5, 11-3.
Junior boys`` singles: Asif Haque bt Saswat Samal (Khurda) 10-12, 8-11, 11-3, 11-9, 11-5, 8-11, 11-6.
Women``s singles: Sunita Si (Khurda) bt Soumya Gayatri Tripathy (Khurda) 3-0.
Men``s singles: Tousif Haque (Cuttack) bt D Debadutta Mohanty (AG) 11-6, 11-6, 13-11, 11-8.
Sub-junior boys`` doubles: Asif Haque-K Abhishek (Cuttack) bt Bikas Singh-Janmejoy Moharana (RSP) 8-11, 11-4, 11-3, 11-6.
