Defending champions Odisha Juggernauts settled for the third position in 2nd Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) League, beating Telugu Yoddhas 32-24 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack today. Gujarat Giants emerged champions with a 31-26 win over Chennai Quick Guns in the title clash.
Earlier in the semifinals, Gujarat Giants dethroned Odisha Juggernauts 29-27, while Chennai Quick Guns got the better of Telugu Yoddhas 31-29. Odisha Juggernauts qualified for the semifinals by securing second position in the group league with 23 points in 10 matches. They won six matches, lost two and drew two. Chennai Quick Guns topped the table with 25 points.
