Puri district clinched an emphatic double, winning both the boys and girls titles in the 60th Odisha State Junior Basketball Championship, which was organised by Odisha Basketball Association (OBA) at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from 22 to 25 December 2023.
In the final matches today, Puri boys beat Club the Entertainer, Cuttack 36-34, while Puri girls Khordha district 89-84. Sailendra Kumar Jena, Joint-Secretary, State Sports & Youth Services Department, was the chief guest of the valedictory ceremony and handed over the trophies to the champion teams.
