A sparkling century by opening batter Angel Raj powered Odisha to a 113-run win over Jharkhand in their fifth and last Group-E match of the BCCI Women U-15 One-Day Trophy at RDCA Ground in Raipur, Chhattisgarh today. But the emphatic win went in vain as Odisha bowed out of the tournament, failing to qualify for the knock-out stage.
Opting to bat, Odisha mustered 202 for four in the stipulated 35 overs with Angel hitting an 85-ball 106, which was laced with 17 boundaries. In reply, Jharkhand were bundled out for 89. Chirashree Rout was most successful Odisha bowler, bagging three wickets for 10 runs.
