Odisha suffered back-to-back defeats in the Senior Women One-Day Trophy Cricket Tournament, losing to Uttarakhand by 50 runs in their second Group-B match at Gujarat College Ground in Ahmedabad today. Opting to bowl, Odisha restricted Uttarakhand to 176. But the batting performance of Odisha proved below par as they were bowled out for 126.
However, Odisha captain Sushree Dibyadarshini and young bowler Jyoti K Prasad did good jobs. Sushree picked up two wickets and followed it with a half-century. Jyoti captured three wickets for 27 runs. Odisha will next meet Arunachal Pradesh at ADSA Railway Cricket Ground in Ahmedabad on December 8.
