Asish Kumar Sahoo (Sambalpur) and Ourja Dash (Bhubaneswar) were crowned as best man and woman judokas respectively in the Odisha State Judo Championship, which was organised by Bhubaneswar Judo Association, under the auspices of Odisha State Judo Association (OSJA) at KT Global School, Khurda from 8 to 12 October.
Bhubaneswar emerged team champions in junior and senior categories while KIIT & KISS finished runners-up. In sub-junior and cadet categories, KIIT & KISS became champions and Bhubaneswar settled as runners-up.
KIIT & KISS bagged a total of 63 medals, which included 24 gold, 18 silver and 21 bronze. Bhubaneswar garnered as many as 52 medals, which featured 21 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze.
