Host Odisha bagged five medals on the opening day of the Asmita Khelo India Womens Weightlifting Zonal League (Zone A) at Biju Patnaik Weightlifting Hall, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar today. The five medals include two gold, one silver and two bronze.
Jyoshna Sabar and Rinki Nayak bagged the two yellow metals in 40kg youth and 45kg senior weight categories respectively. Odisha finished 2-3 in 49kg senior weight class with star lifter Jhilli Dalabehera and Sandhya Rani Nayak securing silver and bronze medal respectively.
